Using multivalue parameters in reports in Reporting Service 2005
The multivalue parameter is transformed into a list expanding @Name parameter with the values “BE”,”AV” used in “Company IN (@Name)” to “Company IN (‘BE’,’AV’)” and thus making it impossible to pass the value to a user defined function or stored procedure. To pass the parameter an extra internal parameter (fx. NamesJoined) needs to be made with the expression “=Join(Parameters!Name.Value,”,”)” and then @NamesJoined contains “BE,AV” string that can be split in the usual way.
